Viramundo was accepted into the AgPopSUS program launched by Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz)Brasília/Ministério da Saúde (MoH).
We will train 40 people in one of Rio’s largest slums, Favela da Rocinha. They will be certified by Fiocruz as Health Literacy Agents.
The program plans to train 400 groups of 40 people throughout Brazil.
This will be a unique opportunity to test YH3T and other educommunicative methods for promoting health literacy among the population, and to evaluate their effectiveness.
We are very excited about this new project, awaiting the call from Fiocruz Brasilia/MoH.
